HI, YOU’RE LOOKING AT THE FACE OF A FRESH COLLEGE GRAD 🎓🎉
Just finished up my last final EVER of my undergraduate career and I knew I wanted to document my last week of college! A college reflection coming to you very soon, but first- let’s recap the week.
P.S. I did not attend college in SF nor do I live there...but it's a cute picture SO WE'RE GOING WITH IT.

SUBMITTED MY SENIOR THESIS
I’m a part of the Campuswide Honors Program and one of our requirements was to complete a research thesis. We’re supposed to have found our advisor by around Spring quarter of our Third year, or at least by the second week of Fall quarter of our Fourth year. SMART OL' ME decided to start looking at the beginning of Fall quarter, and I ended up changing my topic around 3 times and reached out to around 8 professors before one of them agreed to advise me (2 were on sabbatical, 1 didn’t want to, 3 didn’t respond LOL). SO BLESS 🙌
My final thesis ended up being about social media and how it has impacted brands like Starbucks, Nike, and Glossier. I analyzed all of the social media platforms that the brands were a part of to see the tactics used, and if there were any commonalities between older and established brands like Nike, compared to newer but fast growing brands like Glossier.
It was super interesting and I’m so glad that ended up being my topic because I had so much fun researching about them. My thesis ended up being 58 pages long (with 28 pages being the appendix, LOL VERY PROUD ABOUT THAT) and 8000+ words. I sent it over to my advisor, who approved it, and finally got it signed on Monday (3/18)!!! Therefore OFFICIALLY completing the research requirement, fulfilling the CHP requirement, AND FINALLY being done with all of my requirements to graduate!! 🎉

LAST SHIFT AT WORK
Not going to lie, but being a peer academic advisor was something that I really wanted to do and become during my time in college. I always liked advising, helping people, and doing things like creating schedules! I’m so happy to have been a PAA for the school of business, and it was such an amazing experience.
I had the best supervisors and co-workers that it made going to work so much fun. I almost always learned something new in every shift too.
On my (second to the) last day, I walked into the office to see that my supervisors decorated the desk for me 😭, got me flowers, AND Sidecar donuts 😍🍩(which...if you know anything about me, donuts are the key to my heart 💛. And Sidecar has some of the beeest). We also had a mini End of Quarter Celebration, where we played games and got to meet next year’s PAAs.
My last day was bittersweet. Such a great experience and job, and I got to meet so many amazing people!

LAST WORKOUT SESH AT THE GYM
Is it weird that the ARC (Anteater Recreation Center) is among one of the top things that I will miss? I went to the ARC pretty sporadically my first year, but started to consistently go on an (almost) daily basis starting my third year. I HONESTLY JUST LOVE EXERCISE NOW & the ARC had everythiiiing. So here’s a photo documenting my last session at the ARC :,)

LAST FINAL
O M G. Took my last final (of course it was at 8 AM and on a FRIDAY) and I’m not sure if I did too hot but WOW I’m DONEE with college!!! My final was for my MGMT 110 class (Strategic Management), which was a class that I actually really enjoyed. The professor was amazing and I loved learning about the content, so class + homework was (for the most part) always enjoyable.

MOVING OUT
I finished my final at around 9 am and then immediately went back to the house so that I could move out. Luckily I’ve been moving out little by little throughout the quarter, so I didn’t have too much to pack. Just a suitcase of clothes, my mini fridge, fan, kitchen items, and my bar cart (that I don’t know what to do with now LOL). Moved out, checked out, and officially- an alumni (jk I don’t know if that’s how that works...is that how it works? Am I officially an alumni now?)

OFF FOR SPRING BREAK!
With that being said, I’m off to finish packing for my Spring Break trip!! Can’t wait to share with you all where I’m going, so be sure to follow me on Instagram for live updates 💕I don’t think it has hit me quite yet that I won’t be going back to school after this break, but I’m excited for the future and all of its possibilities!!
Any tips for a recent grad or travel plans? Talk soon!!
